January 2nd to 6th - For the fifth successive day, the temperature fell below freezing. This is the longest run of sub-zero temperatures since a five day run ending on January 19th 2016.
January 22nd - At 07:32, the temperature fell to -3.0°C, the lowest temperature since -3.2°C was recorded on the 24th February 2016.
January 26th - The temperature reached a maximum of 0.9°C at 01:01 before falling below freezing at 02:50. The temperature remained below freezing for the rest of the day, reaching a minimum of -2.9°C at 23:58. The average temperature for the day was -1.3°C.
